摘要: Publisher Summary Hydroxylation of estrogens at C-2 that is catalyzed by the microsomal hydroxylase systems liver and other tissues quantitatively one most important reactions estrogen metabolism. This chapter discusses aromatic hydroxylation protein binding in vitro . It reviews survey methods isolation determination 2-hydroxy estrogens. 2-hydroxylation has been studied almost exclusively using radioactively labeled 2-Hydroxyestradiol-17β, 2-hydroxyestrone, 2-hydroxyestriol together with less polar metabolites can be extracted from hydrolyzed urine or incubation mixtures organic solvents. Purification crude extracts accompanying substances achieved paper chromatography thin-layer chromatography, column on silica gel, or, after acetylation, alumina. The detection 2- 4-hydroxylations formation protein-bound water-soluble rat microsomes.
