摘要: Numerous fundamental and simulative test methods are being used to evaluate the performance of Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA). Permanent deformation, fatigue cracking, thermal loss surface friction, stripping 5 main distress types for HMA pavements. All these distresses can result in performance, but rutting is one that most likely be a sudden failure as unsatisfactory HMA. Other typically long term show up after few years traffic. This paper provides general overview fundamental, empirical, tests corresponding each distresses. have been evaluated terms advantages disadvantages. However, major emphasis has placed on evaluating permanent deformation.
