摘要: Abstract Glucose metabolism of mealworm larval fat body tissue in vitro was studied using a highly sensitive micro-radiorespirometric method. Respiratory O 2 partial pressure variations were used to measure catabolic rates [1- 14 C]glucose or [6- molecules as substrates when introduced separately into the incubation medium. Expired volumes CO and radioactivity determined submitted gradual hypoxia. The modifications specific kinetics cumulative yields total derived from under hypoxia, measured. Catabolic corpora cardiaca hormonal extracts Tenebrio strongly inhibited utilization pentose cycle degradation glucose, respiratory gaseous mixture contained 30% . This effect drastically reduced underwent hypoxia (5% ). anabolic insulin-like peptide (ILP) stimulated glucose ; this dose-dependent increased
