摘要: Whereas the theme of these chapters aims to unravel mechanisms adaptation environment, most our analyses this point have focused more on and less per se. At least a part assignment is explore connections between two processes, as latter sets limits requirements former. That why biologists long recognized intricate interplay clock time adaptational strategies or “options” available organisms in specific hostile environments. Long-term adaptations are compensatory processes that selectively advantageous may be developmentally genetically fixed unchangeable. Acclimations (or acclimatizations) constrained, usually fully reversible activated within fraction organism’s life cycle. Finally, acute those can turned practically instantaneous response (change in) environment (3,5). In chapter we briefly review very recent evidence accumulated, which bears three kinds high-altitude adapted Andean people.
