摘要: Extrinsic skin ageing or 'photoageing', as opposed to intrinsic ageing, is the result of exposure external factors, mainly ultraviolet irradiation. Glycosaminoglycans (GAG) and particularly hyaluronic acid (HA) are major components cutaneous extracellular matrix involved in tissue repair. However, their involvement extrinsic remains elusive. In this study, we investigated expression HA its metabolizing enzymes photoexposed photoprotected human specimens, obtained from same patient. Total GAG were isolated, characterized using specific GAG-degrading separated by electrophoresis on cellulose acetate membranes polyacrylamide gels. Quantitation total was performed ELISA. Gene hyaluronan synthases (HAS), hyaluronidases (HYAL) receptors CD44 receptor for HA-mediated motility (RHAMM) assessed RT-PCR. We detected a significant increase HA, lower molecular mass, compared with skin. This associated decrease HAS1 an HYAL1-3. Furthermore, RHAMM significantly downregulated These findings indicate that distinct homoeostasis HA. The elucidation role may offer additional approach handling ageing.
