摘要: Twenty patients with cervical dystonia were treated during one year repeated intramuscular injections of botulinum toxin. The outcome was evaluated comparing subjective global rating relative changes in degree pain on the Visual analogue scale (VAS), dysfunction due to dystonia, and quality life according Nottingham health profile (NHP). Objective measurement dystonic position movement ability performed using a goniometer, semiquantitatively noted as scores Fahn Tsui. Before treatment, impaired NHP did not correlate Tsui score posture, but significantly (p < 0.01) which also includes data pain. Significant improvement after treatment seen for all parameters 0.05). Global correlated improved posture 0.05), reduced or dysfunction. results suggest that efficacy toxin is best combination VAS ability.
