摘要: Motion artifact is an important limiting factor for abdominal magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in veterinary patients. The purpose of this study was to determine the effects pulse sequence on MRI diagnostic quality dogs. Ten normal dogs were each scanned using 16 sequences. Sequences included breath-holding sequences, respiratory navigation and traditional spin-echo Four observers independently scored based appearance specific organs, overall quality, degree artifactual interference. Signal-to-noise ratio contrast-to-noise also calculated sequence. with highest mean score dorsal T2 turbo spin echo (TSE) fat saturation breath-holding. lowest fast echo. signal-to-noise all evaluated organs sagittal T1 ratios did not correlate subjective assessment majority sequences (P < 0.05). three considered have cranial abdomen TSE breath-hold, transverse low-angle shot gradient half-Fourier acquisition single navigation. These had short times, yielded studies similar provided complementary information, are therefore recommended routine canine protocols.
