Analysis of the awareness of collaborative e-learning (CeL) in Sri Lankan university education

摘要: E-learning introduced new ways of learning using computer and internet, is rapidly evolving with the development technology. Learners can actively participate collaborate in a process either synchronous or asynchronous e-learning. Collaborative e-Learning (CeL) an effective way which also improves processing skills students. In this study, awareness effectiveness CeL instructional models used Sri Lankan university education was analyzed. The population for research study students lecturers 15 National universities where model academic curricula. conducted by interviews, phone calls email among participants. interview results were analyzed definition context defined. Further, factors affecting CeL, tools advantages practicing challenges that arise when implementing are identified. then categorized into different types critical key faced Finally, paper presents recommendations to improve quality specifies future opportunities field.
