摘要: Abstract In 2002 a robust minimum maintenance system to measure temperature, conductivity, and chlorophyll fluorescence was installed on ferry running twice weekly between Portsmouth, UK Bilbao, Spain. Logged data are transferred from the engine room an Orbcom satellite communicator bridge. On shore enters SQL database with access public web page. Data Iberian margin is linked monthly surveys by IEO. Target work includes:the structure, transport of seasonal devel- opment water masses, scaling patchiness plankton blooms in regions different hydrographic characteristics.
