摘要: Eosinophilic bronchitis is a common and treatable cause of chronic cough. The major pathological feature eosinophilic airway inflammation, similar to that seen in asthma. However, the associated dysfunction quite different, with evidence heightened cough reflex sensitivity, but no variable airflow obstruction or hyperresponsiveness. Recent suggests differences functional association are related localization mast cells wall, smooth muscle infiltration occurring asthma epithelial bronchitis. Diagnosis usually made induced sputum analysis after exclusion other causes for on clinical, radiological lung function assessment. responds well inhaled corticosteroids dose duration treatment remain unclear. Little known about natural history this condition. some patients COPD without previous have eosinophilia, so one possibility cases may develop fixed obstruction. Further study interesting condition will increase our understanding inflammation responsiveness, leading novel targets therapeutics both
