摘要: In this letter, the design of a super slim multiband wrapped inverted-F antenna that covers frequency bands allocated for GSM, DCS, and PCS wireless services is described. first step, quarter-wavelength (at 850 MHz) open-end arm an radiator folded meandered. Then, using fourth-order folding technique to reduce its projection area only 40 mm × 10 3 mm. Full wave electromagnetic (EM) simulations show excites lower mode resonance at ∼850 MHz higher one about 1900 MHz. Its radiation pattern nearly omni-directional with gain 2.5 dBi band 4.6 upper band. A prototype proposed fabricated tested. close agreement between simulated measured results achieved. The 6-dB return loss or voltage standing ratio (VSWR) 3:1 bandwidths resonances 200 (770–970 280 (1710–1990 MHz), respectively. These are sufficient cover GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz, DCS 1800 bands. Because small volume, very attractive candidate modern portable transceivers.
