摘要: This chapter describes the biological removal of sulphur compounds from gas streams. First, an overview is given toxicity to animals and humans whereafter industrial formation routes for (organic) are given. Microbial degradation volatile organic under both aerobic anaerobic conditions presented. Finally, most commonly applied processes gaseous streams discussed operating experiences treatment systems. The concludes with some remarks on future developments.
