摘要: Individual variation in features of habitat structure among territories breeding grasshopper sparrows and savannah a southern Wisconsin grassland was examined. Grasshopper sparrow established late the season were larger than those occupied earlier. In sparrows, time establishment had no significant effect upon territory size, but amount grass cover highly correlated with size differences. There considerable inter—territorial both species, patterns relating to position population, well—defined whereas generally showed little systematic pattern variation.
