摘要: Brown planthopper (BPH) is the most damaging rice pest globally. Resistant varieties are effective and environmental strategy for protecting crop from BPH. Functional markers (FMs) designed polymorphic sites within gene sequences affecting phenotypic variation highly efficient when used marker assisted selection (MAS). Bph14 first only cloned insect resistance so far in rice. Compared to of its non-effective alleles there a number SNP differences. In this study, method allele-specific amplification (ASA) was adopted design simple, co-dominant, functional Bph14P/N Bph14. combined with two specific dominant markers: one, named Bph14P, targets promoter region amplifies 566 bp fragments; other, Bph14N, LRR bph14 345 fragments. Specificity applicability system were verified breeding populations Chinese mini core collection Oryza sativa. We recommend use low-cost routine genotyping populations.
