摘要: The introgression of multiple genes into traditional cultivars using marker-assisted selection (MAS) in order to obtain favorable traits is an effective strategy achieve improved rice lines. Genotyping markers a central component the evaluation germplasm and progeny However, efficient DNA extraction genotyping large breeding populations still remain limiting factors molecular programs. This study has developed validated cost-effective, rapid (<1 h for 96 samples), high-throughput (96-well format) total DNA-extraction method based on magnetic particle technology. To improve grain-quality two varieties, we have designed employed codominant functional marker system (including Wx, ALK, Chalk5, fgr genes), combination with automated capillary electrophoresis. Rice lines simultaneous improvement at loci were obtained found superior grain quality be fragrant. pipeline established this represents efficient, reliable, precise platform MAS.
