摘要: A 1:28,000 scale geomorphological map of the central sector Matese Mountains (Southern Italy) is presented in this paper. Geomorphological investigation by means remote sensing, cartographic analysis and field surveys allowed identification main geomorphic processes to related landforms which are both monogenetic polygenetic origin. Most them erosional generated action periglacial, glacial karst often occur under control geological structure. Glacial relics glaciokarst fluviokarst origin provide good evidence strong influence variable climatic conditions on landform genesis during Quaternary. They also highlight extensive tectonics Quaternary caused progressive uplift, fragmentation disarticulation developing mountainous landscape its consequent polycyclic evolution.
