Comparative results of 99mTc-pertechnetate scintigraphy and computerized tomography after contrast injection in cerebral pathology.

摘要: Fifty-six patients presenting acute cerebral ischemia were investigated by means of 160 CT and 90 RN scans. was positive before contrast injection in 90% cases. A total 120 CTs done after injection. Only 31% the ischemic areas enhanced. Out scans, 50 showed localized uptake. The peak scintigraphic detection found on 15th day evolution, while enhancement at more frequent between 21st days. For hematomas (13 cases) scan depends size lesion. Among 47 tumor, uptake above all intensity BBB both show same blood-brain barrier disturbance.
