CEACAM1: Una molécula multifuncional

摘要: Lamolecula de adhesion celular antigeno carcinoembrionario 1 (CEACAM1), es una glicoproteina perteneciente a la superfamilia las inmunoglobulinas, encontrada sobre superficie gran variedad epitelios y celulas del sistema hematopoyetico humanos otras especies. Interviene en diversos procesos biologicos como: celular, reconocimiento bacterias virus, regulacion eventos celulares, entre otros. Recientemente se le ha atribuido un papel importante inhibicion crecimiento tumoral algunas funciones inmunologico. La disminucion expresion CEACAM1 tumores origen epitelial (carcinoma colorectal, adenocarcinoma pulmon, carcinoma ovario endometrial) indica que estamolecula puede tener supresion tumoral. Sin embargo, observado incremento gastrico escamosas pulmon. De ahi CEACAM1, podria ser utilizado como nuevo marcador para diagnostico, monitoreo pronostico algunos carcinomas.
