摘要: Nuclear medicine imaging techniques have great potential in the study of behaviour drug formulations and delivery systems human subjects. No other technique can locate so precisely site disintegration a tablet Gl tract, depth penetration nebulised solution into lung, or residence time on cornea. Using gamma camera to image vivo distribution pharmaceutical radiolabelled with suitable emitting radionuclide, images may be used quantify biodistribution, release kinetics from novel carrier devices. Radionuclide tracer allow correlation between observed pharmacological effects precise delivery. The strength lies quantitative nature radionuclide images. Such studies not only provide data characteristics product, such as reliability reproducibility but, also submission Regulatory Authorities product registration dossiers.
