摘要: A need for improvement of food waste (FW) pre-treatment methods has been recognized, but few life cycle assessments (LCA) FW management systems have considered the with respect to input energy, loss organic material and nutrients anaerobic digestion (AD) and/or further treatment refuse. The objective this study was investigate how efficiency impacts environmental performance management, global warming potential (GWP). modeling tool EASETECH used perform consequential LCA focusing on impact changes in mass distribution within framework conditions that were varied biogas utilization energy system, representing different geographical regions time-frames. variations GWP due generally small, especially when refuse substituting same carriers, conversion efficiencies high slurry quality good enough enable digestate use land. In these cases other aspects, economy practicality could be guiding selecting system without large risk sub-optimization regards GWP. However, methane is important net results must included sensitivity analysis. Furthermore, as vehicle fuel importance sensitive assumptions approach modelling marginal which decided based focus timeframe question.
