摘要: Abstract This study attempted to apply life cycle assessment (LCA) methodology compare distinctive management strategies when biologically treating source-sorted organic household waste (SSOHW). The included different pretreatment methods of SSOHW prior anaerobic digestion and biogas applications. Biopulp technology, screw press, disc screen were chosen as three available electricity production, combined heat power (CHP) well upgrading selected downstream strategies. In all scenarios, the produced digestate was assumed for nutrient recovery reject fractions from step considered be incinerated. A consequential LCA employed long term marginal data adapted credit amount recovered energy nutrient. composition collected in Denmark used investigate impact created scenarios on several damage categories, i.e., Global warming potential, Human health, Ecosystem quality, Resources. Moreover, also compared terms ratio find strategy resulting highest payback. results showed that developed under biopulp technology outperformed their counterparts which other used. mostly due higher caused by correct sorting into substrate fractions. based obtained, it can concluded CHP production would best option while so sensitive source substituted energy.
