摘要: Resource efficient and novel practices to produce proteinaceous food feed sources can partially alleviate the protein scarcity problem. The conversion of low-value waste streams into single cell (SCP) seems a potent solution. This study evaluated possibility urban biowaste valorization through coupling anaerobic digestion SCP production, feeding methanotroph mixed-culture with raw upgraded biogas. In respect nitrogen supply, could grow well providing nutrients by direct addition pasteurized centrifuged-filtered digestate or adding electrochemically extracted ammonium from digestate. yield on methane varied 0.59 0.76 g dry weight (CDW)/g CH4. A high (0.87 g CDW/g CH4) proved that biogas is good substitute for natural gas scaled-up microbial production. addition, produced was rich in essential amino acids, marking biomass comparable other sources.
