High pressure liquid chromatographic analysis of polyphenols in leaves of Eucalyptus camaldulensis, E. globulus and E. rudis: proanthocyanidins, ellagitannins and flavonol glycosides

摘要: Polyphenols of adult leaves from Eucalyptus globulus, E. camaldulensis and rudis grown in Spain, two areas with different edaphoclimatical characteristics, were estimated by chemical methods high pressure liquid chromatography. Leaf extracts consisted mainly proanthocyanidins, ellagitannins flavonol glycosides. Knowledge the allows discrimination three species, globulus being well differentiated other two. However, pattern glycosides only permitted respect to globulus. © 1997 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
