摘要: Purpose The aim of this study was to evaluate and compare the diagnostic capabilities 2-dimensional (2D) 3-dimensional (3D) sonography for conjoined twins. Methods Four pregnant women with an initial 2D sonographic diagnosis twins were examined color Doppler sonography, 3D multiplanar orthogonal plane imaging surface rendering. Results All 4 cases initially diagnosed either transvaginal or transabdominal sonography. afforded more realistic views demonstrated clearly linking areas anomalies, but provided definitive specific information about shared organs. Conclusions Although is primary modality diagnosing evaluating twins, can sometimes provide additional that assists in clinical management these twins. also provides images are easier parents understand, which help them decision making. © 2002 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
