摘要: We described the distribution of badger populations in four different areas Republic Ireland. The data came from periodic targeted badger-removal and subsequent post-mortem examinations conducted between 1989 September 1997, a formal project same 1997 through 1999. Records were complete for 2292 badgers regarding date capture, tuberculosis status, geographical area specific sett where snared. Of 3187 setts, 2290 had no recorded against them (i.e. inactive). badger-level prevalence differed among (range 13-29%). Badger highly clustered by sett, this result was similar over study areas. median number per active 2. Tuberculous also within sett. third quartile tuberculous 1 not related to total badgers. There little evidence spatial clustering with only one local cluster setts each three areas, none fourth area. After adjusting clusters identified.
