Application of the Spray Type Impinging Streams Reactors in Two Phase Solid-Liquid Enzyme Reactions

摘要: Application of the impinging streams technique as a novel procedure in performing chemical engineering operations, has shown higher efficiency and increased performance capability comparison with conventional methods. In present study isomerization D-glucose to D-fructose using immobilized glucose isomerase enzyme, typical example catalyzed solid-liquid reactions been carried out spray reactors (SIR). The results have indicated that rate conversion fructose such is much than obtained from reaction systems packed beds.
