摘要: The invention relates to a method for screening compounds their ability increase rigidity of red blood cells (RBCs) infected by protozoan parasite the genus Plasmodium and in particular falciparum. present also filtering RBCs that enables retention, unit, having an abnormal decreased deformability, as surrogate spleen function. Said isolating and/or detecting Plasmodium- or spherocytes associated with acquired hereditary spherocytosis from sample patient, analysing vitro function patient. application said methods, selection which selectively interact iRBCs ring-iRBCs are suitable RBCs, especially reduced deformability. This new filtration is amenable automation allows clearance concentration stiff wide experimental medical applications inherited RBC disorders (including malaria).
