A neural network approach to analyzing health care information.

摘要: The article describes an investigation into the use of artificial neural networks for analysis health information. Kohonen self-organizing map technique was used to group 39 European countries according data extracted from World Health Organization's All database. groups were seen exhibit significantly different characteristics with respect life expectancy, probability dying before 5 years age, infant mortality rate, standardized death rate (SDR) diseases circulatory system, and SDR external causes injury poisoning. Results obtained using subsequently confirmed by traditional statistical tests.
