摘要: In this paper we looked for the most suitable method benthic ecological quality status (EcoQS) assessment of North-western Adriatic Sea. Taking into account historical and present information, inter-compared our expectations in terms EcoQS, with Bentix, AMBI M-AMBI classification metrics results, investigated sensitivity these indices to spatial, seasonal inter-annual variability communities. The sampling sites were located at increasing distances respect Po River mouth, along an (inverse) gradient eutrophication. Moreover, a 2-year monthly monitoring plan (October 2004–September 2006) was carried out CEBEB site, central position area. results highlighted that three differed spatial temporal strong changes communities had significant effect on whereas no relevant modifications observed EcoQS assignation obtained using methods. environmental ratios (EQR) values by Bentix did not match expectations, as they inversely correlated site clearly discriminated least eutrophicated sites. It thus appears could be considered valuable ecological-status Sea ecosystem.
