摘要: While exergames have been used with older adults in an attempt to promote higher physical activity (PA) levels, and its subsequent health benefits, there is a lack of research that objectively quantifies the PA levels custom-made can produce throughout extended training program. In this paper, we describe 3-month intervention study aimed measure participants during exergames’ sessions their effectiveness eliciting recommended levels. Over course study, two groups participated either conventional multidimensional fitness program exercise per week (n = 16) or equivalent combined (n = 15), one exergame session week. Both objective (through accelerometry) subjective effort (perceived exertion) were collected each session. Results revealed while spent more time moderate-to-vigorous exergaming than sessions, they also less energy, thus working out at lower intensities but for sustained amount time. The self-reported exertion was consistently We showed set be successfully by trainers up personalized combination regular long-term training, exposing differences between regimes terms efficiency, elicited PA, perceived effort.
