摘要: Sheltered coastal areas have been acting as final receptors of industrial and urban effluents in most developing countries. The capacity such water bodies to act sinks pollutants, particular, heavy metals, is related the anaerobic conditions generally found their bottom sediments. However, this mostly unknown remobilization processes may eventually release deposited metals column (Nixon, 1980; Rasmussen, 1994; Barcellos et al., 1997). Therefore, knowing total concentration sediments not sufficient determined potential contamination a given area. Rather, availability environments dependent on strength binding with sedimentary phases.
