摘要: At present probiotic bacteria are widely used in human and animal nutrition because they beneficially influence the balance of intestinal flora host. Positive effects related to probiotics various include enhancement digestion, strengthening immune system stimulation vitamin production. Moreover, implementation is intended reduce use antibiotics improve growth feed conversion. To protect health consumer confidence, a strict legislation on exists within European Union (EU). Official controls by national authorities performed ensure verification compliance with food law. Apart from risk using unauthorized strains, mislabelling known problem, partly phenotyping or genotyping methods lack discriminative power. In addition official controls, private producing companies important frame protection patented strains industrial property rights. support these applications, IRMM has developed certified reference materials (CRMs) consisting genomic DNA inserts B. subtilis DSM 5749 licheniformis 5750, two that received EU approval. this study we investigated CRMs, IRMM-311 IRMM-312, for detection unambiguous discrimination Bacillus pulsed-field gel electrophoresis (PFGE). Identical fingerprints were obtained CRMs control isolated additive Bioplus 2B®. On other hand distinction could be made not approved strains. The discussed first based whole bacterial genome suitable PFGE. They offer perspectives applications domains such as analysis foodborne pathogens outbreaks routine analysis.
