摘要: Abstract Skeletal muscles, ligaments and tendons are typically assumed to be incompressible, transversely isotropic, non-linearly hyperelastic materials. If one adopts the phenomenological approach modelling, then corresponding strain-energy function can represented as an arbitrary of two invariants Cauchy–Green strain tensors, representing isotropic contribution, pseudo-invariants, anisotropic contribution. For mathematical convenience, dependence on these pseudo-invariants is usually dropped. It will shown here that a necessary consequence this reduced form infinitesimal shear moduli identical, assumption not supported by experimental data. also further out three shearing modes identical over full range deformation. The conclusion biological, soft tissue must modelled using both invariants.
