Hydrophilic interaction liquid chromatography with indirect ultraviolet detection for the separation and quantification of pyrrolidinium ionic liquid cations

摘要: Abstract A method of hydrophilic interaction liquid chromatography with indirect ultraviolet detection was developed to determine three pyrrolidinium ionic cations, i.e . N -methyl- -ethyl cation ([MEPy] + ), -propyl ([MPPy] ) and -butyl ([MBPy] ). Chromatographic separation achieved on a column using imidazolium liquids organic solvents as the mobile phase. The effects background absorption reagents, liquids, wavelength, solvents, temperature pH value phase determination cations were investigated retention behaviors in discussed. optimized chromatographic conditions selected. Under optimal conditions, limits ( S /  = 3) for [MEPy] , [MPPy] [MBPy] 0.59, 0.53 0.46 mg/L, respectively. has been successfully applied synthesized our chemistry laboratory. This research results may improve analytical cations.
