摘要: A dominant share of Croatian cogeneration capacity and future potential belongs to district heating systems currently operating in almost all bigger mainland coastal towns. Since public plants cover only 10% requirements households services sectors it is reasonable assume that energy supply could take a relative absolute even conditions reduced heat demand imposed by implementation Energy Performance Buildings Directive. However, development projects will inevitably depend on capability bridge financing barriers usually manifesting large investment costs long pay-back time. The involvement be necessary either at state or/and municipal level since private companies are focused short-term profitability. In this paper comparison various concepts individual buildings has been performed with respect efficiency environmental indicators. Taking midsize town as an example profitability operation both biomass natural gas fired have analysed. Calculated results indicate levels financial support required for sustainability specific market.
