摘要: In order to keep the generator voltage constant as wind speed and load change, dynamic reactive power compensation is required. Recently a hybrid exciter has been proposed for induction using fixed capacitor bank battery fed inverter. The backed inverter operated at output frequency local, virtual grid. dynamically counteracts mismatches in or real between different speeds. It essential minimize cost of so that make overall system more attractive small medium applications. This study examines comprising standalone squirrel cage proposes optimal sizing with view reduce VA rating over selected ranges load. optimisation process carried out PSO, results verified through GA well.
