摘要: Abstract Background . Opinions vary as to whether operation should be offered patients with coronary artery fistula, particularly those who are asymptomatic. Published studies lacked long-term follow-up data. Methods We studied 41 fistula operated in our unit the past 30 years restudies including angiograms agreed investigation. Results There was no operative mortality and morbidity low. The mean duration of 9.1 96.9% were Twenty-one had a angiogram. native either remained dilated tortuous, or more frequently thromboses short proximal stump. (None these evidence myocardial ischemia.) Four demonstrable recurrence but without hemodynamic disturbance. Conclusions advocate for all fistulas shunting view minimal risks. Small asymptomatic left alone. relatively high incidence residual recurrent makes mandatory.
