摘要: Purpose To evaluate the predictive value of magnetic resonance imaging in determining hamstring autograft size preoperatively for pediatric anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. Methods We conducted an analysis patients younger than 18 years who underwent quadrupled Semitendinosus tendon (ST) and gracilis (GT) cross-sectional areas were measured on preoperative knee scans. Height, weight, body mass index, sex analyzed using ordinal regression analysis. A classification tree (CART) was constructed to identify predictors predetermined intraoperative graft 8 mm or greater. Sensitivity specificity determined based specified predictors. Results This study included 102 (52 female 50 male patients). The average age 15.8 ± 1.4 years. At time surgery, 38 (37.3%) had open physes, with 13.4 0.96 Of patients, 55 (53.9%) 8-mm larger grafts, 31 (30.4%) 7.5-mm 16 (15.7%) 7-mm smaller grafts. In 12 (31.6%) less mm. Male more likely have grafts (P Conclusions summation ST GT greater mm2 closed physes can help surgeon predict which will risk factors a include sex, shorter height, lighter weight. Level Evidence III, retrospective comparative study.
