摘要: Purpose To identify all reported cases of growth disturbances after anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction in patients with open plates and analyze trends respect to different surgical techniques, graft choices, methods fixation. Methods A systematic literature review was conducted using the MEDLINE, EMBASE, SCOPUS databases following term: "((anterior OR ACL) AND ((((immature) plates) physes) pediatric))." Only studies that evaluated ACL angular malformations or limb length discrepancy were included. Data extracted, including patient characteristics, technique, postoperative disturbance. Results Twenty-one containing 39 abnormalities included review. Mean chronological age 13 years, 89% male. Overall, there 16 29 discrepancy. The most common malformation genu valgum (81%, n = 13; mean 6.5°). technique on tibia femur transphyseal (54%, 77% respectively), used hamstring autograft (58%). Among discrepancy, overgrowth (62%, 18; 13 mm). Interestingly, we observed 50% underwent a physeal-sparing whereas 64% shortening technique. Conclusions At present, are 21 reporting current literature, which 16 of malformation. Of accounted for 62% cases. Perhaps interestingly, techniques performed 25% 47% despite commonly held belief this mitigates risks by not violating plate. According study, it is clear skeletally immature underreported, our understanding etiology these limited. Level Evidence IV, II IV studies.
