The influence of emotional intelligence of managers on job insecurity and coping behaviour

摘要: The primary objective of this research was to investigate the proposed model Jordan, Ashkanasy and Hartel (2002) which links perceptions job insecurity emotional reactions negative coping behaviours. As per model, role intelligence as moderator these also investigated. A cross-sectional survey design (n = 296) used constructs were measured by means Emotional Intelligence Scale (EIS), Job Insecurity Questionnaire (JIQ), Organisational Commitment (OCQ), COPE (COPE) Experience Work Life Circumstances (WLQ). Results indicated that, although insecurity, affective organisational commitment, job-related stress had a main effect on behaviours, did not moderate relationships.
