摘要: Predicting the potential invaded range of a non-native species is an important tool for conservation biology. The ferret (Mustela putorius furo) known invasive outside its native and has recently been confirmed as feral in Ireland. To determine current distribution populations, all-island survey was conducted during 2006–2008. Using results this survey, landscape modelling approach, using presence-only data applied to predict future Ireland, given availability suitable habitat. suggest that Ireland appears be potentially highly ferrets and, therefore, possible ecological impacts are discussed.
