摘要: We report efficient low dispersion light coupling into a silicon waveguide using an antenna consisting of two metallic nanoparticles. find that strong multiple scattering between the nanoparticles dictates efficiency. also explore directional coupling, by different particles with relative phase, but optimum directionality corresponds to minimum A dipole model highlights subtle interplay and leading compromise allowing up 30% transmission single direction. With 500nm bandwidth near infrared telecoms bands, group delay is sufficiently faithfully couple pulses as short 50fs.
