摘要: Aluminum is environmentally abundant, but not an essential element. has been associated with several neurodegenerative diseases, such as dialysis encephalopathy, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and Parkinsonism dementia in the Kii peninsula Guam, particular, Alzheimer's disease. Although this association remains controversial, there increasing evidence which suggests implication of metal homeostasis pathogenesis Aluminum, zinc, copper, iron cause conformational changes amyloid-beta protein. Al causes accumulation tau protein experimental animals. induces neuronal apoptosis vivo well vitro. Furthermore, a relationship between aluminum iron-homeostasis or calcium-homeostasis suggested. Based on these findings, characteristics neurotoxicity are reviewed, potential link diseases reconsidered.
