摘要: Abstract C-band (5 GHz) active microwave instruments can be used to sense remotely the variations in space and time of soil moisture up 5 or 10 cm below surface. The thermal infrared radiance is also related evaporation through energy balance at soil-air interface. If those two measurements are made simultaneously over a long period, it may possible monitor actual water budget. Over period days end September 1983 airborne remote sensing equipment gave surface temperature (from an radiometer) content radar) essentially bare agricultural region. Using Deardorff-like two-reservoir parameterization budgets were derived from sensed data. To validate results, sensible heat fluxes compared with regional measured using vertical Doppler SODAR.
