摘要: This paper considers views of infinity young people prior to instruction in the methods mathematicians use dealing with infinity. To avoid overlap other papers this special issue on infinity, reference limit notions and Cantorian are kept minimum. A partially historical account studies examining peoples' ideas is presented. Methodological problems accessing such a sub-theme paper. The four main sections deal with: potential pitfalls for research area work Piaget; issues concerning contradictory nature as process object; infinite numbers; contexts tasks.
