Effects of captopril and amlodipine on serum uric acid in type 2diabetic hypertensive patients.

摘要: Objective: To investigate the effects of two well known antihypertensive drugs captopril and amlodipine on serum uric acid level in type 2 diabetic hypertensive patients. Methods: One hundred hypertensive patients were divided into two groups, with 50 each group. Group 1 was given captopril group 2 amlodipine. A control included. Blood pressure were measured before after drug administration. Results: significantly higher levels found diabetic hypertensive as compared significant drop acid was noted treatment both amlodipine.
