摘要: An susceptible-infected epidemic model with endogenous behavioral changes is presented to analyze the impact of a prophylactic vaccine on disease prevalence. It shown that, voluntary vaccination, whether an endemic equilibrium exists or not does depend efficacy distribution agent-types. Although unique in absence vaccine, availability can lead multiple equilibria that differ prevalence and coverage. Depending agent-types, introduction or, if one available, subsidy for vaccination increase by inducing more risky behavior.
