Analysis of long‐chain polyisoprenoids by fast atom bombardment mass spectrometry

摘要: Dolichols, polyprenols and their phosphates have been investigated by fast atom bombardment mass spectrometry suitable matrices doping conditions developed. The molar response decreases with the molecular weight. sensitivity is much higher for phosphates, which are already in ionized form, than parent alcohols. All derivatives give rise to pseudo-molecular ions. also gave [M - 18 + H]+ ions produced fragment elimination of [(C5H8)n 2].
