摘要: A clawed hallux is a deformity of the great toe resulting from muscular imbalance. Using cadaveric foot-loading frame, we quantitatively assessed role peroneus longus (PL), extensor hallucis (EHL), and flexor (FHL) on position pressure distribution first ray by simulating muscle imbalances. The experimental protocol included applying seven different combinations simulated disproportionate loads ("overpulls") for these three muscles using midstance force values derived literature. This study quantified angular change in joints measured plantar beneath head metatarsal hallux. results indicated that was statistically greatest contributor to elevation metatarsal, while EHL FHL were primarily responsible changes deformity.
