摘要: Abstract The spatial distribution of two-dimensional nuclei during the electrocrystallization silver on its own substrate has been experimentally investigated. Monoatomic layers were successively deposited a screw-dislocation free (100) crystal face by formation and spreading single muclei. nucleation site each layer was determined from shape current transient deposition. Statistical analysis 500 sites indicates that process is purely random in space.
